Presentation

The LiDiLEM laboratory has been organizing seminars in Grenoble on the topic of reflective thinking (conditions and practices) in the particular context of Philosophical Discussions with children and teenagers, since 2013. Three seminars were held (2013, 2015 & 2017) bringing together researchers and practitioners working in the area of Philosophy for children. With this international conference we intend to expand our network by proposing to other researchers to look closely on data we have collected and transcribed. This is the meaning of this call for contributions: " Corpus philo: corpus a(p)prendre ".

During our workshop in 2015, we were surprised to note that the analyses often converged to the same corpus' extracts. The challenge for us is to continue to be surprised therefore we ask everyone to put forward, for this conference, an expert view and analysis of the "corpus  à(p)prende" ("Corpus to take") which we make available. We aim to generate multiple interpretations to be discussed afterwards.

Objectives

This corpus can be considered as a research subject leding to increase our knowledge in Philosophy for children. It also provides relevant data for research fields addressing issues about reasoning, argumentation, language, thought, development, body and emotions, etc. We hope this "corpus to be taken" may renew and enrich knowledge and raise questions in many other research fields.

Authors may propose analyses in one of the following areas:

  • Argumentative Logic;
  • Interactive Logic;
  • Semantics of Speech Acts;
  • Multi-modality;
  • Interlocutory Logic;
  • Cognition
  • Theories of Reasoning;
  • Philosophy of language...

and the list is not exhaustive
